I know only Irakli Shotadze among the candidates and I can tell you that Irakli is a decent person and professional, and he has repeatedly proven over the last few years that he can take tough, difficult steps and take responsibility, - Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said.

According to the Prime Minister, there are many decent candidates for the position of Prosecutor General, while the final candidate will be selected by the Prosecutorial Council.

"In our political reality and life, there are not many people who can take hard steps, take responsibility and do this quietly, without any dances," the PM said.
