Davit Usupashvili: Georgia is in the spotlight again, because another governor has failed to do his job

Georgia is in the spotlight again, because another governor has failed to do his job and the country is going in the wrong direction, - Davit Usupashvili, a member of the political union Lelo for Georgia, said in Kutaisi, where a party office was opened.

According to him, the good news is that the Congressmen’s letters fully support the Georgian people.

"These are the problems accumulated for years and the insidious step of the Georgian Dream relating to the proportional elections was just another problem. That was the last problem that made our strategic partners in Washington, Brussels, Vilnius, Berlin and everywhere lose their patience and now everyone is telling us that they see the Dream and their leader naked, who have deviated from building a country founded on democracy and the rule of law and this has to be changed. This is painful for me personally, as it is about Georgia.

Our country is in the spotlight again, because another governor has failed to do his job and the country is going in the wrong direction, but the good news is that the letters clearly show support to the Georgian people and Georgia”, Usupashvili said.

According to him, all this, first of all, stains the reputation of the country.

This is a dangerous situation and the Georgian opposition forces, Lelo and others, must take responsibility, because we have to save the country that is in the hands of incompetent authorities today,” Usupashvili said.
