Finland FM condemns the cyber-attack against Georgia

Foreign Minister of Finland Pekka Haavisto condemns the cyber-attack against Georgia.

“Finland FM condemns the cyber-attack against #Georgia. All states need to uphold international law and guarantee global, open, stable, peaceful and secure #cyberspace where human rights, fundamental freedoms and rule of law apply,” Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland has tweeted.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry announced on February 20 that the cyberattack of October 28, 2019 against the websites of Georgian government and private agencies, “was planned and carried out by the Main Division of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.”
