An informal meeting between the ruling party, opposition and diplomats is underway at the residence of the German ambassador to Georgia.

As one of the leaders of the ruling team, Irakli Kobakhidze stated before the meeting, this is not an official meeting and no specific decisions will be made.

As for the offer that the party with less than 40% support should not be able to form a government, Kobakhidze said that the ruling party shares this opinion and an interesting discussion may be held today.

Opposition leaders, in particular Grigol Vashadze, Chairman of the United National Movement, said that until political leaders are in prison, they will not negotiate. According to him, today’s meeting is informal and no specific agreement is not planned to be made.
