Georgia suspends trials of Plaquenil as treatment

Georgia has temporarily suspended the use of Plaquenil as a potential treatment for Covid-19, Tengiz Tsertsvadze, Director General of the Tbilisi Infectious Hospital, told InterPressNews.

He said the use of Plaquenil has suspended until the World Health Organization presents a final conclusion.

"Since Georgia is a participant of the study and we should work with the same design as the World Health Organization, we have temporarily suspended the use of Plaquenil, temporarily until the World Health Organization presents its conclusions," Tsertsvadze said.
