According to Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, the elections scheduled for October 31 will be held in a calm and democratic environment.

As he told reporters, the aim of the government is to ensure that the elections are held democratically.

"You are aware that the elections will be held on a completely new, much more democratic principle. Therefore, our main goal is to hold elections in a calm, peaceful, democratic, open, transparent environment, and it will be so," Gakharia said.

The parliamentary elections are scheduled for October 31, 2020 in Georgia.
