Gubaz Sanikidze: The government will do its best not to leave us on the street

According to Gubaz Sanikidze, one of the leaders of the United Opposition, the ruling team is afraid to leave the opposition on the street because the government cannot control the street.

"The only thing Bidzina Ivanishvili is afraid of is the street because the street is never controlled by the government. So they will do their best not to leave us on the street. They will do everything, they will name their children and grandchildren after us for this,” Sanikidze said.

At the same time, according to Sanikidze, the opposition will not enter the parliament without conditions from the government. According to him, the government should not be optimistic, because "there is still quite serious unity in the opposition."

"If there is no initiative or promise from the government, no one is going to enter the parliament unconditionally, because everyone understands that entering there unconditionally means political death and not only political, but even moral death. Therefore, the opposition realizes that an unconditional reconciliation with Ivanishvili's government will lead to the collapse of the opposition parties”, Sanikidze said on PalitraNews TV.
