Georgian Dream to receive state funding of 5,140,020 GEL, National Movement bloc - 3 115 635 GEL, European Georgia - 1 124 409 GEL

Based on the results of the October 31 parliamentary elections, the Georgian Dream will receive the highest budget funding. According to the available data, 5,140,020 GEL will be transferred to the ruling party annually from the budget.

14 parties became the recipients of funding from the budget. Under the new rule, funding depends on the number of votes received in the parliamentary elections - the party that received at least 1% of the votes in the last parliamentary elections will receive money from the state budget.

The parties will also receive additional funding for observing gender quota. Such partied are European Georgia, Alliance of Patriots, Aleko Elisashvili - Citizens and Giorgi Vashadze - Strategy Builder.

The funding received by qualified parties based on the parliamentary election results are as follows:

European Georgia - (72,986 votes); 1 124 409 GEL.

United National Movement - United Opposition is in Unity (523,127 votes); a total of 3 115 635 GEL. The bloc unites five parties: National Movement - GEL 2,299,635; Movement State for People - 240,000 GEL; Progress and Freedom - 12,000 GEL; Republican Party - 204 000 GEL; European Democrats - 360 000 GEL;

Alliance of Patriots (60,480 votes); 1 043 120 GEL.

Labor Party (19,314 votes); 289 710 GEL.

Aleko Elisashvili - Citizens (25,508 votes); 497 406 GEL.

Election bloc - Giorgi Vashadze - Strategy Builder (60,671 votes); In total, 1 044 361 GEL. The bloc unites two parties, among which the funding will be distributed as follows: Giorgi Vashadze - Strategy Builder - 939 925 GEL; Law and Justice - 104,436 GEL.

Girchi (55,598 votes); 777 990 GEL.

Georgian Dream (928,004 votes); 5 140 020 GEL.

Lelo (60,712 votes); 803 560 GEL.

Nine parties have already applied to the Central Election Commission for getting the funding from the budget. Five parties - Alliance of Patriots, Labor Party, Citizens, Girch and Lelo have not applied to the Commission for funding.
