Carl Hartzell: It is clear to me that this discussion will be difficult and will continue to be difficult, but in the end, it must be possible to find a way

It is clear to me that this discussion will be difficult and will continue, but in the end it must be possible to find a way, for stability and democracy in the country, - EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell said after the meeting with opposition leaders.

"I would like to note that the meeting that took place this evening, I think, was very important to ensure that the negotiations and the ambitions of all parties to find a common platform, which we have been looking for for several weeks, are still active. We had a discussion with the seven parties that attended the meeting. We will now discuss the results of this discussion and think about how this can be used to move processes forward. As I have already said, it is very important to think about how to find this "magic" common ground, I want to emphasize that it continues on all sides and we hope that eventually, it will be possible to find such similarities. But I can not say more than that at this point, because the negotiations must continue. It is clear to me that this discussion will be difficult and will continue to be difficult, but, as I have already mentioned, in the end, it must be possible to find a way and move the processes forward for stability and democracy in the country", - said Carl Hartzell.
