Alexander Rakviashvili: Kobakhidze's statement was so bad that something very serious must happen for the negotiations to make sense - it seems that nothing more will happen, we will write a statement and we will not enter the parliament

According to Alexander Rakviashvili, one of the leaders of "Girchi", Kobakhidze's statement today was a mistake, because when one side threatens you and uses an ultimatum, the negotiations lose their meaning. Rakviashvili stated about this after the meeting of the representatives of the opposition party with the journalists.

According to him, the opposition is united as never before.

"Kobakhidze's statement, in my opinion, was a mistake and united us as never before. It seems that nothing more will happen, we will write a statement and we will not enter the parliament. We had the same position during the negotiations and we just thought that unity was very important, so we worked with other colleagues and formed a common position. Today, we did not argue at all at the meeting. The discussion was on procedural issues. Kobakhidze's statement was so bad that something very serious must happen for the negotiations to make sense. I have never been against negotiations, but on the other hand, we also need to understand that it is just a waste of time - it does not make sense to go and sit somewhere. I will not be in parliament, I have a hard time imagining when one side threatens you, uses an ultimatum, not against us but the 'National Movement', that they will abolish them - I think such talks make no sense", - Rakviashvili said.
