Kakha Kaladze on European Parliament resolution: It has no value - a certain group of people doesn't want a government that is a patriot of its country

This resolution has no value, said the Mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, in connection with the report on Georgia supported by the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee.

When asked whether he shares the position of the Minister of Culture and Sports, Tea Tsulukiani, that the MEPs want the Georgia not to receive EU candidate status under the government of Georgian Dream, Kaladze says that a certain group of people doesn't want a government that is a patriot of its country.

"This resolution has no value. Obviously, a group of people who pretend to be friends of our country are actually friends of a particular political party. They don't want a government that is a patriot of its country, that cares about the citizens, the development of the country, and maintaining peace," Kaladze says.
