Grigol Vashadze demands dismissal of Justice and Foreign Ministers

Presidential candidate of the United Opposition, Grigol Vashadze, demands dismissal of Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani and Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani.

As Vashadze stated at the briefing today, the Georgian government and Minister Tsulukiani declared Georgian soldiers participating in the August 2008 as private soldiers and as a result of this decision, Georgian veterans will have to independently fight against the false materials fabricated by Russian NGOs.

"The Dream and Minister Tsulukiani did unimaginable: they directed the responsibility of the occupant country against Georgia, in order to protect their narrow party interests and create problems for President Saakashvili.

The Russian Federation is trying to avoid responsibility for the crimes they have committed and for this purpose, they submitted false documents prepared by Russian pseudo-nongovernmental organizations to the Hague Court. Given the statements and actions of Minister Tsulukiani, two things need to be done urgently: Minister Tsulukiani and Minister Zalkaliani have to resign. It does not matter whether the abovementioned is the result of their non-professionalism or intentional action. It is necessary that professionals be appointed on their positions urgently”, Vahsadze said.
