Pre-trial detention has been ordered by Tbilisi City Court for one Georgian and 6 Ukrainian citizens detained as a result of a special operation conducted in Tbilisi.

The judge fully granted the motion of the prosecution regarding the application of pre-trial detention as a measure of restraint.

According to the judge, the threats indicated by the prosecutor were real. In particular, the prosecutor said that there was a danger that the defendants would try to hide and commit a new offense.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a special operation at the Guria and Alliance hotel located in Tbilisi and arrested 6 persons a few days ago. Various weapons and ammunition were seized from the hotels.
