Another agreement to be signed between Georgia and France on purchase of anti-aircraft system

Another agreement will be signed between Georgia and France on the purchase of anti-aircraft system.

As Defense Minister Levan Izoria told reporters, he will leave for France for that purpose today.

"We have significant progress and achievements. For the first time, we addressed 20% of the defense budget to armament; we are buying modern technologies. We’d like to especially underline the anti-tank systems. We bought them at the beginning of the year. This evening I will travel to France to sign a new contract with the French side regarding the purchase of anti-aircraft system tomorrow.

This process continues and this is one of the priority directions," Izoria said.
