Irakli Kobakhidze about outgoing President : I call on him not to go beyond his mandate

It’s up to the political party winning the parliamentary elections to decide who will be the country’s Prime Minister,- Chairman of Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze said while commenting on outgoing President Giorgi Margvelashvili’s remarks, who said that it would be nice if Bidzina Ivanishvili returned to the Prime Minister’s post.

“Today, the “Georgian Dream” is a winning party. As for Giorgi Margvelashvili, he has done everything to be elected for a second term as President, but he did not even dare to run in the elections as his reputation was too low. I call on him not to go beyond the given mandate,” Irakli Kobakhidze said.
