Telavi City Hall offers opposition different location for 16 December rally

The United Opposition has been refused to hold a rally in the city of Telavi. Telavi Mayor Shota Nareklishvili has confirmed the mentioned information.

According to him, instead of the venue requested by the opposition, the Telavi City Hall offered the opposition to hold a rally at another place.

"We have sent them an official answer. Since the venue requested by them is part of the area where inauguration is planned to be held, we offered them an alternative venue on Kostava Street after consulting the relevant services," Nareklishvili said.

The United Opposition plans to hold a rally on December 16 in Telavi, where President-elect Salome Zurabishvili's inauguration is to be held.
