Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze opened the winter season in Gudauri ski resort. Gudauri meets the new season with 6 new ropeways.

"I congratulate everyone on the opening of the new season in Gudauri.. I am sure this year will be unforgettable for our tourists. Gudauri meets the new season with 6 new ropeways, including 3 on Gudauri-Kobi secion. This is very important, the Kobi-Gudauri-Stepantsminda to be developed in one cluster. These projects will allow us to increase the carrying capacity of Gudauri about four times, which means that there will be a comfortable environment for tourists in Gudauri and we will not have any queues that concerned us over the previous years, "said PM Bakhtadze.

The Prime Minister talked about other ongoing infrastructural projects in Gudauri.

“The water reservoir project is almost completed. You know that we have already started installation of artificial snow making infrastructure in Gudauri. We want Gudauri to be a the resort of world importance. Of course it is necessary the artificial snow making system to operate properly, "said the Prime Minister.
