1800 people to take part in Salome Zurabishvili’s inauguration today

According to the Head of the inaugural commission, Kakha Kakhishvili, 1800 people will take part in Salome Zurabishvili’s inauguration ceremony in the city of Telavi, Kakheti region, today.

The inauguration ceremony will be held in the King Erekle Palace at 15:00 and will last for 40 minutes.

At 16:00, Salome Zurabishvili will hold a reception for guests at the Vazha Pshavela Drama Theater.

About 150 representatives from around 55 countries will take part in the inauguration of the 5th President of Georgia. High-ranking guests from more than 20 countries and 16 international organizations have arrived in Georgia for the ceremony. More specifically, the guests include: President of Armenia, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Vice President of Turkey, Speaker of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia, President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament, Marshal of Polish Senate and head of the Presidential Office, Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova, Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, Minister of Environment and Climate Change of UAE, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of Belarus, Vice-Speaker of the Israeli Knesset and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, GUAM Secretary General, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, a representative of USAID from the US and a representative of the Holy See.
