Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on organizers of rallies to observe law and obey legal requirements of police

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has released a statement regarding the rallies planned in Telavi, Zugdidi and Batumi today.

According to the Ministry, they will protect freedom of expression, safety and order of citizens gathered in the cities of Georgia.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs called on the organizers of the rallies to observe the law and obey the legal requirements of the police.

The statement also says that the traffic will be temporarily restricted in the cities of the Kakheti region.

“Any offense during the events planned today will be immediately responded and prevented by police within the law, "- reads the statement.
