De-facto president claims South Ossetia will participate in opening of transit route via "South Ossetia” as independent state

South Ossetia is an independent state which, together with Russia and Georgia, will take part in the opening of the transit route via "South Ossetia", - Anatoly Bibilov, the de facto president of occupied South Ossetia/Tskhinvali region, said.

"Our republic is an equal partner for those countries who are interested in opening the transit route via South Ossetia. Other options can not be considered related to this issue, "the de facto president said.

According to Anatoly Bibilov, in those agreements, which will be signed within the implementation of the project, South Ossetia will be referred to as an independent state.

"Of course we are ready to discuss the issue of transit, but in case South Ossetia is considered as an independent state. Otherwise it will not happen, "he added.
