According to President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, she will boycott Georgian Airways and calls on citizens to do the same. The President made the relevant statement at the briefing.
"I'm imposing it for myself, it doesn't mean much, but I urge you to join the boycott," said the President.
According to her, Airzena is a company that "takes full advantage of the state to get rich".
"Airzena is a company that takes full advantage of this state to get rich. This has been the case under all governments, it has continued under covid and now has to take advantage of this new reality which is unacceptable to a very large part of our population. And one more thing, I will refrain from using the board before it is in the hands of Airzena, so as not to enrich the company, which is ready to do anything for money, and we have seen the happy statements by its head," said Zurabishvili.
