Three people drowned in the Dzusa river in the village of Zeda Sazano in Terjola municipality.

According to available information, the man lost his foot and fell into the water, after which the accompanying persons went into the water to help him, but they were swept away by the river. One accompanying person remained on land.

As the Emergency Situations Management Service told InterpressNews, as a result of the accident, the bodies of 3 people were found in the river, and one is still being searched for.

Another person pulled out of the river was taken to a medical facility.
