In Batumi, the report about the existence of a mine in the private school "Progress" turned out to be false, the school administration confirmed to InterpressNews.

According to their own information, a message was sent to the school's e-mail, where it was written that the explosive device would be activated at two o'clock in the afternoon.

According to the school administration, for the sake of safety, the school was evacuated and relevant services arrived at the site.

"There was a message on the school's official email, informing us that a bomb had been placed in the school and would be activated at two o'clock. For safety reasons, the children were removed from school on time. We called the appropriate services. The search turned up a false alarm. At this stage, investigative actions have been completed. We hope that tomorrow we will resume the educational process as usual", the school administration said.
