Rescuers found the body of a man buried in the snow in Bakuriani, the Emergency Management Service reports.

The body of the deceased was removed from the snow mass by the rescuers and relevant legal procedures are underway.

"Firemen and rescuers of the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs found the body of a man buried in the snow in Bakuriani, Borjomi municipality, as a result of intensive search operations.

About 200 firefighters, border police helicopters, rescue drones, representatives of the Georgian Defense Forces were involved in the work.

The body of the deceased was removed from the snow mass by the rescuers, and appropriate legal procedures are underway," the information stated.
