Lelo for Georgia joins European march announced by Georgian NGOs for April 28

The Lelo for Georgia party joins the European march announced by Georgian non-governmental organizations for April 28.

According to their reports, the Georgian Dream government, which serves the interests of Russia, plans to create a situation that shows that part of the population of Georgia is against the integration into the European Union and supports the "Russian law".

“Lelo is guided by the interests of the Georgian people and the constitutional foundations of the Euro-Atlantic integration of the country, and joins the European march announced by Georgian non-governmental organizations on April 28.

We stand next to the citizens of our country to once again peacefully, clearly and loudly say yes to Europe and no to Russian law!

Bidzina Ivanishvili's government, which serves the interests of Russia, plans to create a situation that shows that part of the population of Georgia is against integration into the European Union and supports the Russian law. For this, the government is forcing people employed in the public service to participate in the rally organized by Georgian Dream. We believe that people employed in the public service are well aware of what Russification of Georgia means and we urge everyone not to surrender to the coercion of the Russian authorities. Do not become participants in the Russification of the country.

Our place is in the European Union. This is a crucial moment in which each of you should remember all the steps you have taken so far for the integration of our country into the European Union and make a decision to remain loyal to yourself or become part of Bidzina Ivanishvili's Russian government”, reads the statement.
