UNM and Strategy Builder appeal to Georgian Dream to postpone tomorrow's committee hearing in order to avoid provocations and other complications

We appeal to Georgian Dream, in order to avoid provocations and other complications, we consider it necessary to postpone tomorrow's committee hearing, - reads the joint statement of the United National Movement and Strategy Builder.

According to them, if the government does not consider this reasonable advice and does not postpone the committee hearing, the responsibility for all complications and its consequences will fall on Georgian Dream.

"We appeal to Georgian Dream, in order to avoid provocations and other complications, we believe that it is necessary to postpone tomorrow's committee hearing. We are ready to attend the committee meeting on any other day.

The appointment of the committee hearing on April 29, while everyone knows that this process causes natural protests, is a provocation from the government, especially when Georgian Dream itself forcibly brings civil servants and has announced a counter-rally.

If the government does not take into account this reasonable advice and does not postpone the committee hearing, Georgian Dream will be responsible for all the complications and its consequences”, - reads the statement.

For information, on April 29, the session of the Legal Issues Committee of the Parliament will be held, the agenda of which includes the consideration of the draft law on "Transparency of Foreign Influence" in the second reading.
