President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili says if the Patriarchate of Georgia is cautious regarding the issue of the independence of the Ukraine’s Church due to some consequences, she “cannot aggravate the situation”.

‏”Individually, it would be easy to congratulate #Ukrainians over their Church's independence, all natural considering our own past, but as President, I have a big responsibility to bear. If our Patriarchate is cautious due to some consequences, I cannot aggravate the situation,” President Zurabishvili twitted on January 15.
