Police has questioned Giorgi Chanturia, Director at “EL Group” constriction company, at the Didi Dighomi police department. “EL Group” is the company that built the apartment block in Didi Dighomi district of Tbilisi, where the deadly gas explosion took place yesterday.

Reportedly, representatives of KazTransGas” Tbilisi gas distribution company have also been questioned by police.

Four people, including a minor, died in the exposition, according to the authorities. Eight others were injured, including six minors.

The Interior Ministry has launched an investigation under article 240 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving violation of safety regulations.
