The study process has been resumed in educational institutions of Georgia today. Based on the recommendation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, disinfecting works were done in the buildings before the classes resumed.

The Ministry recommends the educational institutions to follow sanitary and hygienic rules and requirements issued by the World Health Organization and the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia in order to prevent the spread of the flu.

Winter vacation was extended for one week due to the threat of influenza virus in Georgia.
