According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agency is ready to transfer Georgian sailor Davit Razmadze to his homeland, but the Libyan side is waiting for permission from the investigation.
As InterPressNews was told by the Ministry, they have constant communication with the Libyan side.
"We are ready to transfer the body of the Georgian sailor to the homeland, but at this stage investigative procedures are underway in Libya. We are waiting for the completion of the investigation," the Ministry said.
Georgian sailor Davit Razmadze was found dead near the landing-stage in Libya, - Tamar Ioseliani, Director of the Maritime Transport Agency of the Ministry of Economy of Georgia, told InterPressNews. The sailor had been missing for two weeks.
