European Georgia demands setting up an fact-finding commission in the Parliament regarding the TBC Bank and Anaklia port. As one of the leaders of European Georgia, Davit Bakradze, stated at the briefing, they have already begun collecting signatures for this purpose.

According to him, European Georgia is ready to consult with other parliamentary factions on this issue.

"We have started collecting signatures of MPs. We already have signatures of minority MPs. The fact-finding commission should be set up in connection with alleged pressure on persons related to Anaklia port and TBC Bank. TBC Bank is the leading financial institution of this country, while the Anaklia port has strategic importance for Georgia's economy and security. So the issues of strategic importance should be studied by the fact-finding commission”, Bakradze said.

According to him, the task of the commission is not to send certain officals to prison or punish them, but to establish the truth.
