Residents call on civil activists, journalists to leave Khurvaleti village

Locals of Khurvaleti village met with civil activists and journalists with noise calling on them to leave the village. The civil activists and journalists, who were accompanied by law enforcers, observed the gardens of Davit Khuroshvili and Gia Natonisashvili, where, according to the information released yesterday, there were masked gunmen.

"They stood at the barbed wire fences and have not crosses them. I have not seen them. This is my garden. Leave us! You will go and we will get into trouble here,” some residents of Khurvaleti told civil activists and journalists.

Davit Saghirashvili, another resident of the village, says that the Russians have not crossed so-called “border” from the occupied territories.

"They want to score points. Russians are occupants, I am a fighter, but nothing will come of it if we make attack, berate, swear them. Will we win the war and return the territories through this way?” Saghirashvili said.
