“European Georgia”, “Free Democrats” intend to fight jointly in parliamentary elections

Two opposition parties - the “European Georgia" and the "Free Democrats " plan unification for the 2020 parliamentary elections,- Gigi Ugulava, one of the leaders of the “European Georgia", said in his interview with PalitraNews TV program “Newsroom.”

He said that the negotiations on long-term cooperation between the two parties are over.

According to him, the "Free Democrats" party is the closest one for the "European Georgia" according to its values.

"The negotiations on long-term cooperation between the two parties are over. We will soon appear before the public,” Gigi Ugulava said.

He noted it would be the first statement that people coming from various political pasts, who were confronted in the past, plan unification to create an “alternative to the current government. “

“If it happens, it will be very good for the recovery of the political situation,” Gigi Ugulava said.
