Russian troops start military exercise in occupied Tskhinvali

Subdivisions of the Russian military base started checking control in the occupied Tskhinvali region, - agency "Res" informs about it.

"Military servicemen will carry out various training, including driving of armoured vehicles, shootings and etc.,” the agency says.

More than two thousand troops and 500 pieces of military technical equipment, including “Т-72БМ” tanks “БМП-2” combat vehicles are involved in the exercise.

Commander of the 58th Army General Major Sergey Rizhkov controls the training.
