Sisters from Saudi Arabia seek asylum and protection in Georgia

Two sisters from Saudi Arabia released a video saying that they have arrived in Georgia to seek asylum. 28-year-old Maha and 25-year-old Vafa Al-Subaia claim they need protection.

“We need the country that will protect our rights and grant us asylum,” the sisters say.

According to the young women, they have fled from their family where they were oppressed. The sisters say their father and brothers arrived from Saudi Arabia to Georgia to take them back.
