Irakli Kobakhidze meets PACE President

Liliane Maury Pasquier, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, is meeting with Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze. The meeting is underway behind closed doors.

The delegation, headed by the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, includes the Head of the Council of Europe office in Georgia and the First Deputy Chief of the Office of the Assembly's President. According to the agenda, the meeting will last one hour, after which, statements will be made for the media.

Aftermath, Liliane Maury Pasquier will visit the IDPs’ settlement in Tserovani and the village of Odzisi, where she will view the territory adjacent to the administrative border.

The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will also meet with President Salome Zourabichvili and Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze tomorrow.
