A rally was held in the Pankisi Gorge during the questioning of Malkhaz Machalikashvili in the state security service.

The locals, gathered at the old mosque, explained that they had been supporting Malkhaz Machalikashvili from the very first day of the special operation.

"We did not want to politicize the Temirlan’s case and that’s why we did not stand in front of the Parliament together with Vakha Machalikashvili, but nobody should think that our support has been weakened. On the contrary, it has become stronger, especially after the release of audio recordings. That’s why we have gathered today.

We can see the support of the population of Georgia and we thank them for it. We declare support to Malkhaz Machalikashvili," the locals said.
