Police have detained one person, who was involved in Zugdidi incident. Gela Kvaratskhelia told reporters before he entered the police building that he would not allow Sanda Roelofs in Zugdidi.

“I have always been and will always be Zviad Gamsakhurdia’s [first President of Georgia] supporter. I will not allow Sandra Roelofs to enter Samegrelo,” said the detainee.

The opposition United National Movement (UNM) party said on Tuesday that its Mayoral candidate Sandra Roelofs and her accompanying persons were assaulted by 5 people, when Sandra Roelofs and other leaders of the party were giving interview to a local media outlet.
