Irakli Kobakhidze: Gega Shengelia wins elections in Zugdidi with 54.08%

Gega Shengelia received 54.08% in Zugdidi, - Chairman of Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze stated at the special briefing.

"According to the protocols, 54.08% of votes belong to Gega Shengelia. Therefore, we can once again say that Gega Shengelia won the first round with great advantage", Kobakhidze said.

In addition, according to him, the Georgian Dream candidate won in Marneuli too.

"As for Marneuli, 86 polling stations have been counted and 78.75% of votes were received by Zaur Dargali," Kobakhidze said.

As for the remaining municipalities, the results are as follows:

"Giorgi Goglichidze received 50.53% in Zestafoni according to the results of 52 polling stations; Givi Modebadze received 65.39% in Chiatura; Vakhtang Beridze received 67.1% in Khulo, where votes have been counted in all polling stations," Kobakhidze said.
