"Georgian Dream" candidate Giorgi Shengelia has won the extraordinary mayoral elections with 54,18% (30 470) of votes in Zugdidi municipality, according to the early results from all 107 polling stations - the Central Election Commission of Georgia (CEC) has reported.
According to the CEC, Sandra Roelofs of the “United Opposition” received 42,84% (24 095) of votes.
The Central Election Commission said that all other candidates have obtained the votes less than one percent.
