CEC early results : GD candidates lead by-elections in all 8 single-mandate constituencies

The “Georgian Dream” candidates are winning May 19 Sakrebulo (municipality council) by-elections in all eight single-mandate constituencies in Sagarejo, Akhmeta, Adigeni, Zestaponi, Chiatura, Tkibuli, Tskaltubo and Ozurgeti, according to the preliminary results of the Central Election Commission (CEC) OF Georgia.

GD candidate Zurab Shindelashvili won the polls with 72,4% of votes in Sagarejo Municipality, followed by Irakli Chincharadze of the “United Opposition” with 26,71% of votes.

Rostom Alkhanashvili of the “Georgian Dream” party leads the elections with 96,49 % of votes in Akhmeta Municipality.

Genadi Bolkvadze of the “Georgian Dream” party won the elections with 93,89 % of votes in Adigeni Municipality.

Nugzar Peradze won the polls with 69,71% of votes in Zestaponi. Giga Labadze of the “National Movement” party is the second with 29,84 % of votes.

Teimuraz Chumburidze of the “Georgian Dream” party leads the elections with 46,82 of votes in Chiatura Municipality, followed by Iliko Chikviladze of the “National Movement” party with 27 % of votes.

Roman Matskepladze of the “Georgian Dream” party won the polls 63,23 % of votes in Tkibuli, while Davit Lomadze of the “National Movement” party received 28,68 % of votes.

Omar Sinauridze of the ruling party leads the by-elections with 78,41 % of votes in Tskaltubo Municipality, followed by Zaur Kashibadze of the “European Georgia” party, who received 19,72 % of votes.

Davit Mdinaradze of the “Georgian Dream” party gained 71,75 % of votes in Ozurgeti Municipality, where Iakob Zakareishvili of the “European Georgia” party received 15,85 % of votes.
