Police in Georgia detain Turkish citizen for drug crime

The employees of the Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained citizen of Turkey I.Ch. (DoB 1970) for illegal purchase and storage of especially large quantities of narcotic drugs.

As InterPressNews was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, law enforcers seized 200 pills of Subotex during the persona search of the detainee.

Police have launched an investigation under Subparagraph “a”, Paragraph VI, Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving illegal purchase and storage of especially large quantities of narcotic drugs.

The detainee faces from 8 to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
