This government does not protect the interests of the country, does not perform its primary duty to protect our territorial integrity, - Archimandrite Kirion told journalists in Davit Gareji when speaking about the construction of a road by the Azerbaijani side.

According to the Archimandrite, the Azeri side has almost completed the procedure of the road construction in Davit Gareji.

"Their task has been fulfilled. I cannot tell you how things will develop, but this is our government – it does not protect the interests of the country, it does not perform its primary duty to protect our territorial integrity.

If we continue to live like this, we will not have a country any more. We will only have Tbilisi and all Georgians will live in Tbilisi", - Archimandrite Kirion said and added that the Georgian authorities can solve the problem if it has principled position, since only unreasonable and unprincipled people cannot find a solution.

“"If the country has principles and reasonability, it will be able to solve this situation, but I can tell you that our government is provoking people with its actions. When the government does not do anything, people start to worry, which may lead to certain incidents", - said the Archimandrite.
