"Thief-in-law” Mindia Goradze (Lavasoghli) released from prison

Mindia Goradze (Lavasoghli), convicted of being a “thief-in-law”, has been released from Turkish prison, Goradze’s lawyer has confirmed to InterPressNews.

According to lawyer Alexandre Kobaidze, the Turkish side did not agree the arguments of the demand of the Georgian side regarding Mindia Goradze’s extradition and released Lavasoghli in compliance with its legislation.

“Lavasoghli cannot arrive in Georgia, because in this case, he will held accountable to the law, I mean that he has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment,” the lawyer said.
