Patriarchate calls on authorities to be tolerant with detainees

The Patriarchate of Georgia asks the authorities to show maximum loyalty to those, detained during June 21 rally. The Patriarchate has released a statement today.

“We once again express our concern about the developments and offer our sympathize to all the victims.

In addition, we appeal to the authorities to show maximum loyalty to defendants within the law.

Although some of them have already been released, we ask them to be tolerant with other detainees, who have been involved in the processes due to emotions,” the statement reads.
