Ukrainian intelligence forces charge Russian general and three other persons with shooting down plane over Ukraine

Ukrainian intelligence forces have charged a Russian general and three other persons in connection with the crash of Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777.

The charged persons are : Sergei Dubinsky, who prosecutors say is the major-general of Russia's GRU military intelligence agency;

Igor Girkin, who prosecutors say is a former colonel in Russia's FSB intelligence service;

Oleg Pulatov, who was a former soldier of GRU special forces and deputy head of the intelligence service in Donetsk;

Ukrainian national Leonid Kharchenko.

A Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot down over the zone of Russia’s hybrid aggression in eastern Ukraine on 17 July 2014. All 298 people on board were killed.
