Giorgi Gabunia will continue to work in Rustavi 2 after 2 months, when the restriction imposed by the self-regulatory council expires, - Paata Salia, new director general of Rustavi 2, told journalists.

When asked about the possibility of revision of Giorgi Gabunia's restriction, Paata Salia said he could not see grounds for the above.

"This question has not been raised today. I think there was a great consensus in the society regarding the decision made in relation to Giorgi Gabunia," Paata Salia said.

In addition, when asked by the head of Rustavi 2’s news service, Nodar Meladze, about his expectation that he would be replaced, Paata Salia replied by saying that he had wrong expectations.
