Russian Duma to discuss the issue of genocide of residents of 'South Ossetia' by Georgia

According to Russian media, "the Russian Duma will discuss the issue of genocide carried out by Georgia against the residents of 'South Ossetia' in 1920".

‘The Russian State Duma Council will discuss the appeal of the South Ossetian Parliament relating to the genocide of residents of South Ossetia by Georgia in 1920 at the nearest session," Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin told reporters.

The appeal was sent to the Russian State Duma by the de facto parliament of South Ossetia ten days ago.
