The “Georgian Dream” attempts to destroy and discredit institution having the best reputation, this is a real fact, Mamuka Khazaradze, founder of Lelo public movement, told reporters while commenting on the recent developments around the Patriarchate of Georgia.

Mamuka Khazaradze insists that the attempts to attack the patriarchate became the most dangerous after the Georgian Dream came into power.

"I would like to underline that we have witnessed the attempts to attack His Holiness, Patriarchate and Church. It became the most dangerous after the Georgian Dram came into power. This is clear. Everyone knows there was the communication between the representatives of the authorities regarding the Patriarch’s dismissal,” Mamuka Khazaradze said.
