Patriarch: “Take care of the homeland and the church”

I will not preach today, I will just say that grief has united us with God, - did the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, addressed the parish at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

His Holiness gave the parish a blessing to read one chapter of the Gospel.

"God is with us. I will not preach today. I will just say that grief has united us with God. Take care of the homeland and the church, this is the strength of the Georgian nation. You are blessed to read one chapter of the Gospel today. All over Georgia, it will give you grace and mercy. I am gratefull for your support. Representatives of other religions, Muslims and others, have expressed their support as well," the patriarch said.
